Ben Hennessy

Ben is a multi-disciplinary filmmaker specialising in editing and animation.

​

After graduating from Nottingham Trent with a degree in Graphic Design, Ben was selected for a work placement at the world renowned animation studio, Aardman. Under the guidance of Merlin Crossingham and his team, Ben developed his skills in stop motion animation. Ben then spent the next 7 years working for creative agencies The One Off and Cogent, where he created a wide range of motion graphics and video content for the retail and commercial sectors. Clients include Primark, Speedo, BMW, Gordon Ramsey, British Cycling and Renault F1. During his time at Cogent, Ben was appointed as head of post production, leading a team of editors and animators through the whole production process. His role also allowed him a hands-on approach to filmmaking, often operating as a camera operator and self shooting DOP.  Ben's diverse creative background helps create compelling and cinematic storytelling for a multitude of brands.
